Corporate identity for the initiativ Haus Marlene Poelzig. Marlene Poelzig was a versatile artist with a wide range of activities. She was a master of architecture, sculpture and stage design, and she put them into practice. On the press photo for the topping-out ceremony of her own building site, she was cut away - to give more space to her famous husband Hans Poelzig. Her highly remarkable studio apartment building, much talked about in its time, was "concealed" in the post-war period, and for the past year the house has been deliberately left to decay in order to build condominiums there. Too often we remember "the wives of great men!" Yet Marlene Poelzig, just like Lise Meitner, Fanny Hensel or Clara Schumann, was an independent master of her craft.
